Electrodiagnostic Technicians provide quality diagnostic services to inpatients, outpatients, emergency (ER) cases for paediatric and adult patient populations.
Technicians use electrical and mechanical pieces of equipment to assist physicians, nurses, other healthcare professionals and patients determine (diagnose) the nature of their medical problem.
ECG and EEG services are also offered to the Regional Mental Health Centre patients by either bringing patients to the ECG/EEG department or on a once weekly scheduled visit to the Regional Mental Health Centre by the District Hospital's ECG/EEG Technicians.
Electrodiagnostic services are provided from 7:30 am to 11:30 pm, 7 days a week.
