Patients Served

Women who are 50 years or older.

Overview

Currently, the Ontario Breast Screening Program Northeast Region is screening 51.5% of eligible women. Our screening goal is to reach 90% in the next 15 years. If you are a woman 50 years or over, breast screening is recommended every one to two years. Make a commitment to take time for yourself. Make breast screening part of your health routine.

The Ontario Breast Screening Staff thank you for your support and look forward to many more years of service to the women of North Bay and area.

The Breast Screening Program (BSP) is an organized program of breast screening centres that is established across Ontario. It is funded by the Ministry of Health and administered by Cancer Care Ontario.
