This clinic operates Monday to Thursday excluding statutory holidays from
0700 to 1530hr on the 5th floor at the Scollard Site.
We provide services to children and adults who need an ophthalmological surgical
intervention. Our primary focus is cataract surgery but physicians also perform
minor surgical procedures such as lid surgery and other plastics procedures
laser surgery, fluorescein angiography, and other related surgical procedures.
Our clinic is all-encompassing in that our patients are prepared in the department,
the procedure is performed in a standard operating room within the unit and
the patient is recovered and discharged from the same area.
Volunteers perform an integral role within the clinic and assist the nurses
with flow of patients and provide support for them and their families.
