Description of Service
The RMC day treatment program is available for patients concurrently registered in the RCPC Inpatient Unit, Outpatient Services or Regional Family Program. Day treatment extends assessment and/or treatment of psychiatric disorders to a classroom environment. Although both educational and psychiatric problems are addressed, assessments and/or treatments are the primary focus in the classroom. The Ruth MacMillan Centre operates through a partnership between RCPC and the Rainbow District School Board and as such follows the same schedule as the Rainbow District School Board (i.e., closed at Christmas, March Break, Summer, PD days).
