Program Overview
RSMHP provides tertiary mental health services in Northeastern Ontario to individuals, families, and community based services using an evidenced based best practices model of care. All services are guided by principles of recovery. The program offers specialized interventions to those living with complex and refractory mental health problems in order to reduce symptoms alleviate distress, to live meaningful lives and develop the skills and supports needed to choose, obtain, and keep valued role(s) in the community.
Services Offered
RSMHP provides specialized, comprehensive, multidisciplinary assessment, treatment and rehabilitation to adults with severe and persistent mental illness who have not responded to treatment and/or have difficulty maintaining successful community tenure despite exhausting all district level supports and interventions.
